don't have to, can see it all from the bridge - wastelands are half-underwater, as is all of the lower ends of both river and levee trails.

Prediction is for the river to keep rising for a bit more, although the rate seems to be slowing down. The Red River @ Shreveport just started dropping - maybe the Ouachita will follow suit soon.

I went down there last Wednesday and 1/3 of the trail was under. I think once the river drops clean up will be minimal. The trail work put in over the last month should be preserved. Shore will be happy to know that some more rocks may have been uncovered.

I wanna find that guy and beat him up.

We did a little urban last night - the river is all the way up to the access road.

I rode to work this morning - anyone wanting to get a little in tonight? I had to bring the singlespeed - the geared bike had a flat this morning.

woo hoo - man for you funroe folk that don't cross the river - it's up there.

And still rising.

It's probably less than 2 feet from the base of the Warehouse's deck, and there's not much space under the RR bridge.

They are talking about having to close the Endom and Louisville bridges if it gets to 48.5 like they are predicting. Talk about a traffic fuster cluck!

if they are smart they will sandbag louisvill like they did back in 91, if they dont the cities better prepare for some lawsuits from all of the people getting fired because they are late to work.

i hate the I20 bridge because of the other idiots on it ... but if they do shut em down will be the only option ...

i know it is freaskishly close to the endom and the rail bridge now and not to far away from louisville ...

i bet now they wish they had made more progress on a new bridge being built somewhere else in the area.
